A "Friday" Reunion
For the past several weeks I have missed Friday night evangelism outings at the Redondo Beach Pier due to illness, family gatherings, poor weather and the like. This past Friday I joined back up with the faithful team of brothers and sisters who have a burden to reach the lost and went down to the pier with hopeful expectation of talking to people about Jesus Christ. While I was down there, the Lord opened the door for me to speak to 4 young men who were down there hanging out. I have posted a link to the audio of our conversation here. My prayer is that you might be encouraged to share the gospel with the lost and take a moment to pray for the four young men who heard the gospel. They have been on my heart a lot since then. Their names were Eddie, Ricky, Victor and Jacob. Please pray that God’s kindness would lead them to repentance and that they would trust Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
Lord Jesus, I pray for Eddie, Ricky, Victor and Jacob. I bring them boldly to your throne of grace and ask for mercy. I pray, Lord, that you would pursue them and that you would continue to send workers into your harvest field specifically for them. I pray that seeds would be planted in their hearts and that those seeds would take deep root in you, Jesus. I pray that you would open their eyes to the truth and set them free from the bondage of sin. I pray that you would give them faith to believe the gospel and that you would grant them repentance unto salvation. Holy Spirit, convict them of sin, righteousness and judgment. I pray that they would be born again and that they would become followers and disciples of you. In Jesus name, Amen!
The purpose of this blog is to exhort and encourage the Bride of Christ to follow Christ and His example when it comes to obeying the command to "proclaim the gospel to all creation. (Mark 16:15)"
Prayer list for people who recently heard the gospel...
Please pray that the Holy Spirit would convict consciences and change hearts of those who heard the Law and the Gospel.
11/22/13 - Mario, Jasmine and Marisa. Three teenagers, 14, heard the Law and the Gospel and were convicted by their sin and saw their need for repentance.
